Restore your Volkswagen Touareg 7L interior
This Hood Release Handle Bracket Clip is a direct replacement for the worn or broken original in your Volkswagen Touareg 7L. It is an easy, affordable interior repair that does not require replacing a complete assembly.
What you get
Replacement Hood Release Handle Bracket Clip for the Volkswagen Touareg 7L.
This part is similar to OE# 1KD823633A - aftermarket product. It is not a genuine factory part, which keeps the price far below a dealer replacement while matching the original shape and fit.
Why replace it
Hood release handles are pulled hard and often, so the plastic cracks, the hook snaps or the handle comes loose from its bracket. When it breaks, opening the hood to check the oil or top up fluids becomes a real struggle. This replacement restores a firm, reliable pull.
A tidy interior also matters when you sell the car: buyers notice broken trim and worn controls immediately, and a small repair like this one keeps the cabin looking cared for.
Quality and fit
The part is made to the dimensions of the original, so it lines up with the surrounding trim and uses the factory mounting points. It is checked before shipping.
The material is chosen to resist daily use, heat and UV exposure, so the new part keeps its color and its finish for years. No modification of the car is needed.
Installation
Remove the old handle from its mounting (usually one screw or clip under the dashboard), attach the release cable to the new handle and clip it back into place. Test the release before closing the hood.
Take a photo of the original part before removing it and compare it with the new one, so you can confirm the version and orientation.
Compatibility
| Make | Model | Years |
|---|---|---|
| Volkswagen | Touareg 7L | 2003-2010 |
| Porsche | Cayenne 955 / 957 | 2003-2010 |
| Volkswagen | Beetle, Passat, Golf | per seller list |
Please compare the part with your original before ordering: check the shape, the mounting points and the position (left, right, front or rear) so the new part fits your car perfectly.
