Yet Mercedes sold the vast majority of C-Class models without a charging pad in the console, leaving drivers to deal with trailing USB cables, awkward cable routing, and phones sliding around the center tray on every corner.

This retrofit kit eliminates the cable entirely. The charging pad sits flush inside the console compartment, holds the phone in a fixed position through anti-slip surfacing, and delivers consistent wireless power from the moment the phone is placed down.

How It Works

The charging module draws power from the vehicle's 12V circuit through the existing wiring in the center console area. No new wires need to be run through the dashboard or firewall.

The charging pad is positioned inside the console storage tray where it sits below the natural phone drop zone. When a Qi-enabled phone is placed on the pad, charging begins automatically. An LED indicator confirms the connection, and the phone continues to charge while the vehicle is running.

The module includes overcurrent protection, temperature management, and foreign object detection to prevent overheating or damage to the phone or vehicle electronics.

Installation

Place the wireless charging module inside the center console storage tray and plug the power cable directly into the 12V socket located inside the compartment. That is the entire installation. No trim removal, no wiring behind the dashboard, no splicing into the vehicle's electrical system.

The module draws power from the 12V port the moment the ignition is on, and your phone starts charging as soon as it touches the pad. The setup takes under 2 minutes and is completely reversible — unplug it and the console returns to its original state.
