Front Side AC Air Vent For Mercedes-Benz ML W166 & GL X166 - 2012 to 2019

A new side vent for your ML

The side dashboard vents of the Mercedes-Benz ML W166 and GL X166 break with use. This complete replacement AC air vent assembly restores them.

What you get

One complete front side air vent assembly, left or right, in model A or model B (compare the photos with your car).

This part is similar to OE# 1668300154 - aftermarket product. It is not a genuine factory part, which keeps the price well below a dealer replacement while matching the original shape and function.

Why replace it

Air vents are touched constantly: the slats break, the adjustment tabs snap off and the thumbwheel stops closing the airflow. A broken vent rattles, cannot be aimed and spoils the look of the whole dashboard. A new vent restores precise airflow control for the driver and passengers and makes the cabin look cared for again.

Replacing a damaged vent is one of the most affordable ways to refresh an interior, and a smart move before selling, since buyers notice broken dashboard parts immediately.

Quality and fit

The vent is built to the dimensions of the original so it clips into the factory opening and lines up with the surrounding trim. The slats move smoothly and hold their position. It is checked before shipping.

The plastic is chosen to resist daily use, heat and UV exposure, so the new vent keeps its color and its smooth action for years. No modification of the car is needed.

Installation

Most vents are held by clips: carefully pry the old vent out of the dashboard, then press the new one in until it clicks into place.

Use a plastic pry tool rather than a screwdriver to avoid marking the dashboard, and check the new vent opens, closes and swivels before refitting any trim.

Compatibility

Please compare the part with your original before ordering: check the position (left, right, center or rear), the shape and the clips so the new vent fits your car perfectly.
