Push the window switch button downwards, as though lowering the window. While holding it down, slide a flat-head screwdriver under the lower edge of the button and gently lever it upward until it releases.

Orient the new button with its top facing downward, as you would when lowering the window. Using the right index finger to hold the upper section in place, press the lower part down firmly with your left thumb until it clicks securely into position.
