Center Armrest Lid For Audi A6 C5 - 1998 to 2005

A new armrest lid for the A6 C5

After 20 years, the center armrest lid of the Audi A6 C5 is usually cracked, peeling or broken at the hinge. This replacement armrest lid (similar to OE# 4B0864245AG - aftermarket product) restores it.

What you get

One center armrest box lid, about 29.3 x 11.5 cm, in black, gray or beige.

Why replace it

A worn armrest is uncomfortable on long drives and is one of the most visible signs of age in the cabin.

Interior parts like this one are touched or seen every time you use the car. When they are broken, faded or worn, they make an otherwise well-kept cabin look tired. Replacing them is one of the simplest and most affordable ways to bring the interior back to the way it looked when the car was new, and it is a smart move before selling, since buyers judge a car by the condition of what they touch first.

Quality and fit

The part is built to the dimensions of the original so it lines up with the surrounding trim, and it is checked before shipping. It is an aftermarket replacement, which keeps the price well below a dealer part while giving you the same everyday function and a finish that blends in with the rest of the cabin.

Installation

The new lid or cover replaces or fits over the original part of the armrest. Check the shape against your armrest before fitting.

Take your time when releasing trim clips and use a plastic pry tool rather than a screwdriver to avoid marking the surrounding panels. Check the fit and function of the new part before reassembling everything.

Compatibility

Please compare the part with your original before ordering: check the shape, the mounting points and the connector so the new part fits your car perfectly.
